Arranging Pickup
If you would like Two Sisters Shipping to handle the pickup and provide packing and shipping services for your auction items, please notify both the auction house and email us at auctions@twosistersship.com to make arrangements.
Pickup Services
Pickup services typically start at $5 per customer invoice for standard-sized, easy-to-handle items from local auction houses. This covers most small or moderately sized pickups. Additional charges may apply for large, fragile, or specialty items, as well as pickups requiring long-distance travel.
Shipping & Packing Policies
By default, the most economical shipping service will be selected, and no insurance will be added. If you have special packing requests, prefer a specific shipping carrier, or would like to add insurance, please notify us before submitting payment. We will adjust your costs accordingly and send an updated payment link.
We pack all items to our standard shipping standards to help ensure your items arrive safely. If you wish to reduce packing to lower shipping costs, please notify us before payment. We will provide a waiver to sign and return, releasing Two Sisters Shipping from responsibility for any loss or damage due to reduced packing.
Two Sisters Shipping is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items during transit if no insurance is purchased.
Payment & Storage Policies
Once your items arrive at Two Sisters Shipping, we will contact you within 3 business days using the phone number provided on your invoice. If there’s no answer, we will leave a voicemail and send two text messages from different phone numbers with the following:
A payment link for packing and shipping charges
A courtesy reminder to complete your payment
You will have 1 week from the first message to complete payment. If the payment link expires, your items will be moved to our storage facility, and a $5 per item, per week storage fee will begin (larger items may incur higher fees). If we need to reprocess an expired payment link, storage fees still apply.
If we receive no payment or communication within 8 weeks, your items will be considered abandoned. At that point, we reserve the right to dispose of, resell, or donate the items to recover storage and handling costs.
Note: We rely on the contact information provided on the auction invoice. If the provided phone number is invalid or unable to receive text messages, our normal communication and storage timelines will still apply.
