Two Sisters Shipping & Business Center Terms & Conditions
Shipping and Carrier Services
We are an independent business offering shipping services through USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, and International Package Shipping (IPS). While we are not a carrier, we are an approved service provider and tender shipments to the carrier selected by the customer.
All shipments are processed on our account. We do accept prepaid shipping labels for all carriers, and processing fees may apply. Customers may email prepaid labels for printing, and label printing or processing fees will apply.
It is the customer’s responsibility to verify carrier coverage and request any additional insurance if needed. Most carriers include up to $100 of standard coverage, but higher-value coverage must be requested before payment.
Please note that insurance coverage does not guarantee claim approval. Carriers and insurance companies may deny claims for fragile or high-risk items such as electronics, neon signs, glassware, and similar items. Coverage decisions are handled on a case-by-case basis by the carrier or insurer.
Packing Responsibility
Customers are responsible for proper packaging unless they purchase packing services from us.
If we pack and insure the item, we assume responsibility based on the item’s condition at the time of packaging.
If the customer provides their own packaging, the package must meet carrier standards for secure shipping. Unsecured packages may be rejected by the carrier.
Prohibited Items
We strictly follow carrier and federal guidelines regarding prohibited items. These include, but are not limited to, hazardous materials, lithium batteries, alcohol, firearms, controlled substances, currency, tobacco and cannabis products including CBD, gambling devices, human remains, live animals, gases, poisons, pressurized items, dry ice, corrosives, explosives, radioactive or infectious substances, weapons, and any other restricted items.
Drop-Off Policies
Free drop-off is available when no tape, label printing, or receipt is required. Items must be placed in our designated outdoor crate and meet the following criteria:
No larger than 48 inches in any direction
Weigh 50 pounds or less
If you require tape, label printing, or a receipt, a $2 processing fee applies and covers all services.
Packages larger than 48 inches in any direction or over 50 pounds will incur a $5 processing fee.
Two Sisters Shipping holds no responsibility for drop-off shipments. Customers must contact the carrier directly for any issues. If a receipt is issued, we will make every effort to assist in tracking or tracing the shipment.
Payment and Processing
Payment is required before shipping services are rendered. Processing fees, packaging costs, and any additional services must be paid in full before shipments are released to carriers.
Storage Services
We offer both short-term and long-term storage solutions. Storage fees are quoted on a per-job basis, depending on the size and type of item and the duration of storage.
Storage fees must be prepaid before items are placed into storage. Items left unpaid for 30 days or more will be considered abandoned and may be disposed of, sold, or donated at our discretion.
Accessing stored items before final removal or shipment may incur a handling fee. We reserve the right to open and inspect any stored items if deemed necessary for safety, security, or regulatory compliance.
Prohibited Storage Items:
We do not allow the storage of hazardous materials, liquids, perishable goods, flammable items, illegal substances, currency, jewelry, plants, live or dead animals, weapons, or any item that could pose a risk to other stored goods or our facility.
Storage Liability:
While we take reasonable care of stored items, Two Sisters Shipping is not liable for damage caused by pre-existing item conditions, improper packaging, or inherent product defects. Storage coverage is limited to visible outer carton damage only, up to a maximum of $100 per item. Additional insurance is not available for stored goods.
Courier and Pickup Services
We offer local courier and pickup services for both personal and business customers. These services are available by request and are subject to availability.
Pricing is determined based on distance, item size, and service urgency. Courier services are intended for items that are properly packaged and ready for transport unless prior arrangements are made for packaging assistance.
Customers must provide accurate pickup and delivery information at the time of booking. Any delays or additional charges resulting from incorrect information are the responsibility of the customer.
Items must be ready at the agreed-upon pickup time. If our courier arrives and the item is not ready, a waiting fee or additional trip fee may apply.
Two Sisters Shipping reserves the right to refuse courier or pickup services for items that are improperly packaged, hazardous, restricted, or otherwise deemed unsuitable for transport.
Refund Policy
All sales are final once services have been performed. Refunds are not available for completed shipping, packaging, or processing services.
Abandoned Property
Items left unpaid for or unclaimed beyond the stated timelines will be considered abandoned. Two Sisters Shipping reserves the right to dispose of, resell, or donate abandoned property at our sole discretion to recover storage and handling costs.
Force Majeure
Two Sisters Shipping is not responsible for any failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, acts of war, labor shortages, pandemics, supply chain disruptions, or carrier shutdowns.
